I just came across as really smart at work just now when someone asked me the reason why "may" can sometimes show doubt and other times show certainty.  It took me a little bit, but I finally worked out that it's simply within the use of the imperative tense (the determination of which is taken for granted by native English speakers) that "may" becomes assertive.  It's also a month.

By the way posterous, have a back-up cloud service, jeez.

Followers

I feel like a young cult leader talking about my followers, but in the short while I've had my posterous, I've amassed 44 followers.  Tumblr is in the lead with 62, but keep in mind I follow about 200 people in tumblr.  I don't follow many people in posterous, mainly because I don't read the feed and most of the people who follow me have very few posts so I can't judge if I'd want to follow them just yet.

To remedy the issue of me not reading the posterous feed, may I suggest the option of posterous sending out an e-mail aggregation of our feed each day or week.  Getting a weekly feed e-mail would assure me reading it.  Also, I'm an avid disliker of ads, but I wouldn't mind if you threw in a textual ad at the top or bottom of all these e-mails.  I'm pretty sure you don't have a slew of investors who just "like cool things" like Lodwick :: tumblr, so I'd rather not see posterous go under.

Tarded Posterous Bug

Posterous strips "Re" from whatever you write as your post title.  See example above.

Recapture

I'm going to stop trying to recapture my youth by eating string cheese, because honestly, I'm 21 now, and I don't need to eat plastic.

What a Lovely Child

Lennon started writing and drawing early in life, with encouragement from his Uncle George, and created his own comic strip in his school book, which he called "The Daily Howl". It contained drawings, frequently of crippled people.

Catalogue

The Hal Leonard Corporation cites 213 songs in their Complete Scores book of The Beatles songs.

Michael Jackson and Sony Corp. or whoever they've sold it to by now controls a total of 251 The Beatles songs.

My iTunes library has 526 songs listed as by The Beatles.  This is why I want to slap people who have only ever listened to "Eight Days a Week" or "Can't Buy Me Love" or something and expect me to take them seriously when they say they don't like The Beatles.

And for people who love The Beatles, they have no idea what they're missing not knowing about "On The Road to Marrakesh" or the earlier takes of "Octopus's Garden" or don't know why Paul laughs during the first verse of the second take of "No Reply".
